Effective date: 1 January 2026. Mactria Media LLC is committed to making this website and our publications accessible to people with disabilities, in the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Conformance target

This website is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We treat that as a floor rather than a finish line, and we review the site against the guidelines when we make significant changes. Conformance is assessed against the published success criteria for perceivable, operable, understandable and robust content.

What we have done

Known limitations

We are honest about what is not perfect. The decorative book-ribbon navigation uses a CSS clip-path to create its notched end; in the unlikely event that a very old browser does not support clip-path, the ribbons render as plain rectangles but remain fully functional. Our diagrams convey information through colour as well as labels, but the underlying figures are also written out in the surrounding text. The cookie notice is a fixed-position element; on very small screens it stacks above the content rather than covering it.

Publications

The e-book is provided as both PDF and EPUB. The EPUB reflows for screen readers, supports resizable text and includes a navigable table of contents. The PDF is tagged for reading order where our layout tool permits, and a plain-text-friendly structure is used for headings. If a particular format causes difficulty, contact us and we will do our best to supply an alternative arrangement.

Third-party content

This site embeds no third-party content, no remote fonts and no external scripts, which removes a whole class of accessibility problems introduced by widgets we do not control.

Testing method

We test with keyboard-only navigation, a screen reader, browser zoom at 200 percent and a narrow 320-pixel viewport. These checks are repeated whenever the layout changes, and the results feed directly into the known-limitations list above rather than being filed away and forgotten.

Feedback and enforcement

If you encounter a barrier, email [email protected] describing the page and the difficulty. We acknowledge accessibility reports within two working days and aim to resolve or provide an accessible alternative within ten working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to [email protected], and we will treat the escalation as a formal complaint.
