Cookie policy
A short policy because there is very little to disclose: no advertising cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, and one small flag stored in your browser.
Effective date: 1 January 2026. This policy explains how mactria-help.bond uses cookies and similar technologies such as localStorage. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.
What we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mactria_cookie_ack | localStorage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear | Until you clear browser data |
That entry contains the single character 1. It is not a cookie in the traditional sense, it is never transmitted to us, and it contains no identifier, no timestamp and no personal information.
What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No analytics or measurement scripts of any kind.
- No social-media pixels or embedded players.
- No third-party fonts, stylesheets or scripts loaded from other domains.
- No server-side profiling, because this site has no server-side application.
Why no consent wall
Because we set nothing that requires consent, you will not meet a modal dialog asking you to accept hundreds of partners. The small notice at the bottom of the page is informational: it tells you the site stores one flag and links to this policy. Dismissing it stores that flag. Declining to dismiss it changes nothing else about how the site behaves.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We honour both by default, since we do not sell or share personal information and have no tracking to disable. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for the formal statement.
How to remove the flag
- SafariChoose Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data, search for mactria-help.bond and remove it.
- ChromeOpen Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies, then Site data and delete data for this site.
- FirefoxOpen Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data, then remove this site.
- Any browserClearing all site data has the same effect. The only consequence is that the notice will appear once more.
Cookies on the checkout path
When you place an order, checkout happens on the payment processor’s own site under its own cookie and privacy notices, which we do not control and which we link to at the point of payment. This policy covers only pages served from mactria-help.bond. Once you leave our domain, the other operator’s policy applies, and we encourage you to read it before completing a purchase.
Email-based delivery
We deliver the e-book by email rather than through a logged-in account area, which means this site never needs to set an authentication cookie. There is nothing to stay signed in to, no session to expire and no shopping cart stored in your browser. That design choice removes most of the reasons websites normally have for tracking cookies in the first place, and it keeps the whole policy short enough to read in a couple of minutes.
Changes and questions
If we ever introduce a technology that is not described here, we will update this policy before it goes live and describe the change plainly, in the same table format used above. We review the policy whenever the site changes in a way that could affect what is stored in your browser; so far the answer has stayed the same. Questions about cookies go to [email protected].
